BUYING A KITE

As you can see there are hundreds of different kites available - sport kites, stunt kites, power kites, fighter kites, facet kites, art kites, oriental kites etc. Selecting a kite suitable for you and the differing wind conditions can be difficult. Lots of people come to me and tell me they have bought a kite and cannot get it to fly. Normally the kite is very badly made, assembled wrongly, bad instructions, tails too short, wrong bridle settings etc. etc.

When people ask me where to buy a kite I advise them to go to or contact one of the many specialist kite shops and dealers who have staff who are kite enthusiasts and are only too willing to show and help you to find the right kite for you. They will be able to recommend a range kites to suit you and your pocket.

All the following kite shops provide mail order
and e-mail sales:
